Super Assilex is a flexible, efficient sanding option that creates an even, shallow sanding pattern. It prevents uneven scratches caused by non-woven products and eliminates the need for scuffing compounds and color residue cleanup. To achieve the best results, use an interface pad (P/N 971-0039). This product is equivalent to ±P1200 in speed and >P1500 in finish. Its flexible bonding creates a shallow scratch pattern and allows for faster cutting and extended paper life. The consistent grain pattern from the roller coating manufacturing process ensures uniform scratches and excellent coverage. It can be used on all surfaces to remove wax, dirt, and incrustations, blend repaired and non-repaired areas, and for scuffing before painting. The embedded anti-clogging agent prevents clogging, making it easy to monitor progress without stopping to clean residue. Made in Japan by Kovax, a leader in coated abrasive technology for over 90 years in various industries.
